The Barton Convertible I-Series chair and the Patient Transfer System (PTS) are designed to enable a single caregiver to transfer and frequently reposition a bariatric user with limited or no ability to ambulate. The Barton I-700 chair can function as: A stretcher, an upright mobile chair, or a tilt-in-space chair. The Barton Convertible chairs allow for easy lateral transfers with the PTS while the chair is in the stretcher position. The Barton Chair has heavy duty central locking/steering casters to create a safer and easier to transfer wheelchair.
