I signed up to volunteer with Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity! I am looking forward to helping out tomorrow. When I was younger I was in construction. Six years for my father and one year for an industrial rubber roofing company called Bowers Inc. I did that while attending college at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
I decided to join missions at church. This will allow me to give my time to those who want more from life. Most of my friends would place me behind a computer working on the church’s website, but after doing that all day that’s the last thing I want to do. I feel that going out where I can help those in need, spread the gospel and give my time to the less fortunate is God’s plan for me. I want to make a difference in peoples lives. I also want my kids to be proud of their father. They can learn valuable stuff that will guide them and teach them about God’s love. If I can make a difference in one person’s life this would all be worth it.
I will be on Jefferson Ave. tomorrow in Greensburg, PA. I can’t wait to start serving. This will make someone a beautiful home.
